How we handle a transaction
The site shows the references we work with. Each piece is still considered individually: the information available, the market context and the parties involved. A transaction is not closed automatically.
When a watch changes hands, the work does not end once a price has been agreed. The piece must be understood, its condition assessed, the right professionals brought together and delivery coordinated with care.
Enquiry
The starting point is a direct conversation: the piece, the documentation, the objective — buying, selling or sourcing — and the timeframe.
Not every enquiry proceeds. If it is not a fit, we say so.
Review
Before any negotiation, we review condition, paperwork and consistency with the current market. If information is missing, we ask for it.
Where an operation requires it, we do not replace an independent technical report.
Agreement
Price and terms are agreed between the parties. Ottofino keeps communication in one place so the transaction does not fragment across intermediaries.
Delivery
Packaging, insurance and transport are arranged through providers specialising in high-value goods. A transaction is complete only when the piece has been delivered securely.
